Globus Baumarkt: The do-it-yourself giant is new on Letzshop!

For 25 years
In 2007, the DIY store in Bettemburg, which opened in 1999 as the hela Profi Zentrum, and the hela Profi Zentrum Junglinster were integrated into Globus Fachmärkte GmbH & Co. KG, based in Völklingen in the Saarland. In 2015, both stores were converted to the Globus DIY store concept and the company Globus Lux S.A., based in Bettembourg, was given its current name. ‘Since 2007, we have created over 60 new jobs in our Luxembourg stores and made regular investments to ensure that customers have an all-round successful shopping experience,’ reports Timo Huwer, CEO of Globus Lux S.A. and Globus Fachmärkte GmbH & Co. KG. Today, the Globus DIY stores in Bettemburg and Junglinster employ over 240 people, 21 of whom are currently trainees.
On a sales area of over 10,000 square metres, both Globus Baumarkt stores offer DIY enthusiasts, craftsmen and gardening fans from beginners to professionals everything they need for their home, household and outdoor areas.
