Local and delicious – gin 100% made in Luxembourg

Today, gin takes centre stage as we celebrate World Gin Day. This curious holiday apparently originated in Scotland. But we prove that we also produce very good gin in this country with our ‘Made in Luxembourg’ selection, all of which can of course be found on Letzshop.lu.

From the oak barrel

As the name suggests, the Oak Gin Mansfeld matures in oak barrels that previously contained champagne. The result is an exceptional gin with a rich, earthy flavour with a distant hint of smoke.

For the summer

Every bottle that leaves the local Diedenacker distillery has been handcrafted. And this is also the case for the Dry Red Berry Gin. This is a summery gin with a fruity flavour of raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, elderberry, hibiscus, blackcurrant, pomegranate and 16 different botanicals.

A northern taste

The gin Wakelter comes from the north of the country, which is unfiltered and contains only the distillation core. Its dry and clear flavour is characterised by a distinctive juniper note, as the name suggests.

Do you like apples?

This gin was created from apples, lemon and sage, which impresses with its fine, sweet flavour and 10 botanicals and is, of course, 100% Made in Luxembourg.

Numerous flavours

Another Luxembourg vendor that knows a thing or two about gin production is Distillerie Muller-Lemmer, which has produced the Twin Gin, among other things. For this, a total of 17 different herbs are infused in alcohol for 24 hours. The aromas of citrus fruits can be perceived on the nose, while the flavour in the mouth reveals a beautiful harmony between juniper and the other herbs.

Flower Power

If you fancy something new, you should try Badass Queen Gin. Carefully selected hibiscus flowers round off this artisanal gin with floral notes. Perfect for the summer!

The colour purple

Another highlight for this summer is this Luxembourg Summer Gin. The colour of the bottle reveals that not only juniper berries, cardamom and bitter orange refine this gin, but also lavender, which is reminiscent of Provence.
