Creativity and the love for chocolate go hand in hand at Genaveh. Alexandra Kahn, the chocolatier, is proud to display its ‘Made in Luxembourg’ and ‘Fournisseur de la Cour’ labels. Her chocolates are loved by both young and old alike!

Please introduce yourself

I am Alexandra Kahn, the director of the Genaveh chocolate shop. The brand has been around since 2005 and I took over this little artisanal gem in 2017. With my growing team of craftsmen and women, we produce and offer chocolate products ‘Made in Luxembourg’, which are high in delicacy and quality. We are also very pleased to have been awarded the label ‘Supplier of the Grand-Ducal Court’ a few months ago.

Why ‘Genaveh’?

‘Genaveh’ is the contraction of the name of the founder of the company, Geula Naveh. When we took over her shop, we kept the name it, as it tells a story of women and passion that is close to our hearts.

What about ‘Made in Luxembourg’?

Everything is handmade in our workshop in Steinfort. Handicraft and local products are part of our core values. We use as many local products as possible and also try to highlight national artists.

What does chocolate mean to you personally?

Chocolate has been my guilty pleasure since I was a little girl! For me, chocolate is a delicacy, a joy, something to share which makes people smile. I love working with a product that brings so much happiness to people.
