My name is Nathalie Mader and together with my colleagues Iris and Anke, we are happy to welcome you to the Deko Malina shop in Echternach.
Please explain the concept of the shop
Our concept is based on trendy decorative items and small pieces of furniture in the trendy natural style, spiced up with the various splashes of colour that are in at the moment. The clothes as well as the accessories come from warmer regions like Italy, Australia or Barcelona and spread holiday feeling and well-being. The furniture is made of recycled wood, for example from Riviera Maison and J-Line. Since our shop is too small for all the items I would like to offer, we present our customers a larger extended selection in the online shop.
What do you look for when choosing your brands?
When choosing my brands, I make sure that the articles are not available in the immediate vicinity, so that there is no direct competition and we can present our customers with beautiful collections that not everyone has. Some brands are also available exclusively here in Luxembourg. I am always on the lookout for new and beautiful items that will keep our range and our online shop interesting.

What are the current trends in decoration?
For us, the trend is always nature and its colours and materials. However, the new autumn and winter trends will also be in colour, such as the colour petrol in combination with gold and ochre. ‘Golden Glow’ in winter – together with white and natural products, this creates a warm and cosy ambience. Matching light pink and sage tones also set their own style direction. Purple is also making its mark – together with blue, we will have a collection called ‘Blue Purple’, which brings a touch of luxury to the four walls. So there’s a bit of everything.
Your favourite item to give as a gift?
A tray with various decorative items and tea or lanterns, beautifully arranged to match the season.

Why Letzshop?
We were very happy about this initiative during Corona and find the concept very good. This gave us the opportunity to function anyway and to also gradually set up our own online shop here in Luxembourg without high additional costs and with many possibilities. Being able to buy and sell regionally online is a big step forward in the Luxembourg business world and we hope for steady growth.
