Elegant jewellery ‘Made in Luxembourg’

In 2017, goldsmith Patrice Parisotto opened a small boutique in Luxembourg city near the Place d’Armes where she creates and, of course, exhibits her jewellery.

Luxembourg and the rest of the world

After training as a goldsmith in Pforzheim, the she worked in Germany and the USA and talked to us about the differences in jewellery design: ‘In Luxembourg and in Europe, jewellery tends to be more modern and minimalist. But Americans love their jewellery to be very classic and almost overloaded.’

With great attention to detail

Patrice Parisotto draws inspiration for her jewellery from nature, flowers and animals in particular, but also from architecture. And when making jewellery, the craftsmanship and quality of the raw materials are most important to her. She creates new pieces with great attention to detail, which are, of course, 100% Made in Luxembourg.

Creations with a lot of heart

But she also redesigns or reworks old pieces of jewellery and heirlooms from customers, because the material itself, the pearls, the stones, can all be recycled. And if you ask her about her favourite piece, the likeable Luxembourger answers with a smile on her face: ‘I am attached to all my creations, some of course more than others and sometimes I am even sad when a particular piece of jewellery leaves my shop.’
